The Blade

A black and grey forearm piece, built around a single image: a skull, and the sword that runs it through. It was photographed from the first sketch on the screen to the moment he looked down and found it finished on his own arm.

Most of it happened in a dark room, over long days, with the coffee going cold. Nothing in these frames was staged for the camera. It is simply what the work looks like while it is being made.

It begins with a man telling you what he carries.The meeting
